In the mid seventies, due to the lack of reliable ground handling options, foreign carriers were desperate for a new handling agent to emerge in order to expand their options and diversify the handling services rendered in different Egyptian Airports. In 1976, Z-Aviation Services (ZAS) was established to respond to these calls in order to fulfill those needs.
The company’s priority was to ensure foreign carriers a smooth operation through safety, reliability, high standard quality service and cost efficiency. In the early 1980’s, encouraged by its earlier success achieved in this field, ZAS was once again quick to respond to the growing needs of the import and export market in Egypt with the creation of a reliable Egyptian Cargo Carrier. In 1982, the sister company ZAS Airline of Egypt was formed to become the first privately owned Egyptian cargo carrier operating into the Middle East, Europe and North African regions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][/vc_section]
